What will we do this year in Oaxaca?
We'll have a unique experience in one of Mexico's states richest in culture, tradition, and natural beauty. We'll visit artisan workshops where we'll learn about the creation process of the pieces that have made Oaxaca famous. We'll also explore archaeological sites, nature reserves, traditional markets, and take unique and interactive classes.
VISIT TO CRAFT WORKSHOPS
Hands that See Workshop
We'll meet Don José and his family, renowned potters who create beautiful clay pieces. Despite losing his sight years ago, Don José continues to create true works of art.
Backstrap loom workshop with Abigail Mendoza
We'll see the textile creation process with this master craftswoman renowned for preserving ancient techniques.
Alebrije Workshop with Jacobo and María
We'll visit one of the country's most famous workshops, where these master craftsmen will show us how they bring their alebrijes to life.
Wool rug workshop in Teotitlán del Valle
With master Óscar Pérez, we'll learn about natural dyeing and traditional rug weaving.
Candle and wax flower workshop with the Ruiz Bazán family
We will witness the delicate and beautiful process of creating decorated wax candles.
Mezcal palenque in Santiago Matatlán
We'll learn about the entire mezcal-making process and enjoy a tasting.

Chocolate Workshop: From Bean to Bar
You'll learn the process of turning cocoa into chocolate and make your own truffles and bars.
